The Jester's Court on Queen Street in Port Perry, Ontario has quite a rich history since it was first built in 1959. Throughout the years, this location has been a home, hotel, carpentry shop and lastly in 1979, it became a tea shop and restaurant as we know today.

The Jester's Court is also inhabited by many spiritual beings in which the Jester's Court has become known for. The Lady in the Blue dress and her followers, the little girl and her friend, the old woman and an elderly couple are among the spirits that reside at the Jesters Court.

Many of the spirits are known to be playful and non harmful. One spirit on occasion has snuck up behind staff members and given them bear hugs. The little girl likes to play on the front staircase as well her male friend is known for moving salt and pepper shakers.

The Old Woman has never harmed a human being, but has been known to throw objects. During a renovation in recent years, contractors ran from the building in terror. They stated the Old Woman was displeased with the changes being made.

The final legend surrounding the Jester's Court is of table thirteen. Many passer-by's on the street have seen an elderly couple sitting at table thirteen having a conversation between them.

Investigation Report

1) Introduction

During setup, Michelle took baseline readings for EMF and temperature as to compare to during the investigation. Brad, Paul and Katie began an EVP session in the upstairs restaurant. Later, Katie conducted a solo EVP session in the women's bathroom. Salt and pepper shakers had been set up throughout the restaurant as trigger objects, including on table 13. As well, IR cameras were set up on the stairs leading to the second floor.

2) Personal Experiences

Both Paul and Katie felt uneasiness and their heart raced on the stairs leading to the second floor. Michelle lost her breath several times while on the second floor. She was also drawn to the right side of the dining room which later it was confirmed that was where the elderly lady sits alone.

Currently no EVP's have been found, at this time one audio tape is still to be reviewed.

* There is a controversy concerning orbs in regards to their authenticity. Although many are believed to be authentic, there are still many showing up as a result of airborne particles (dust) at the time of the flash. This happens in both indoor & outdoor shots. Because of this, it makes it hard to disassociate the false positive orbs from the real ones. We at proo(f) leave the interpretation of the anomalies to you.
